Hornchurch Library

One of our most recent high profile contracts has been the refurbishment of Hornchurch Public Library. This dowdy 1960s built concrete frame has received a major face lift. The newly constructed main entrance with its contrasting construction welcomes the visitor into a bright and modern interior.

The steel framed entrance, clad with glazed curtain walling and vividly coloured renders has transformed this building for the local community.

Residential Refurbishment In West Kensington

This fast track budget refurbishment and alteration project was to form 18 bedsits in a House of multiple occupancy and required extensive structural repairs prior to reinstatement work commencing.

We worked in partnership with the design team to provide a superbly finished development and, to the clients delight, full rental occupancy was achieved almost immediately after completion.

Fledon Street Roof Extension

Within the historic setting of Waltham Abbey, a quality new build development for a private client transformed an unsightly car park into an attractive property providing housing with 4 flats and 3 retail and commercial units.

The construction design and materials are sympathetic with the surroundings and adjacent listed buildings, all within a historic conservation area.

Walpole Street

The client engaged us to refurbish and extend exceptional five bedroom end of terrace period house. It was beautifully modernised to provide excellent family living in this prime Chelsea location.

Walpole Street runs directly off the Kings Road close to Sloane Square and the open spaces of Burton’s Court.

Hyde Park Barracks

Over many years Cityline have carried out numerous and varied contracts at MOD barracks throughout London. This small contract is memorable as the museum houses the splendour of the Household Cavalry uniforms, musical instruments and other regalia in all their glory.

An empty basement store has been transformed through use of modern glazing, lighting and humidity control systems.

Whitton Baptist Church

Whilst the Nave of the church has been beautifully refurbished and maintained in recent years, the reception area was sadly awaiting rescue from the fifties. The external entrance driveway and car park was looking sad and neglected.

We undertook the refurbishment of the internal reception and common areas providing remodeling of the spaces, rewiring, new heating and plumbing, plastering decorations and flooring. We also constructed a new glazed entrance foyer, providing disabled access and lighter internal spaces.

The external work included the provision of pedestrian paving, new macadam surfacing to the entrance drive and car park, lighting and signage.

Arturo’s Restaurant

A structurally inept 4 storey London terrace has been transformed into a stylish 21st century dining experience with modern living accommodation over. A complicated foundation and steel frame structure was required to provide stability to the building and the open plan space that the business required.

Main House – Park Village East

Delighted with our construction of their new annexed apartment building, the client engaged us to refurbish their main residence, a five bedroom, four storey, grade 2 listed, Georgian Regency era semi-detached Crown Estate property bordering Regents Park. Together with the Architect, the Structural Engineer, a specialist interior design consultant and the client, a spectacular transformation has been achieved.

The property has been totally rewired, including the very latest in security and communication technology. A new multi zoned heating system and air-conditioning has also been installed. High specification finishes installed by selected trade specialists have produced a product of the highest quality to which we are justifiably proud.

The Globe Centre

Location: Mile End Road, London E1

The Mile End Road bath house had stood empty for many years and has now been transformed to provide a day care centre. The existing building layout was incompatible with the proposed usage and required extensive demolition internally and the introduction of steel frames, new concrete floors and the formation of a large atrium which dominates the main entrance.

High specification mechanical and electrical installations, combined with high specification finishes, has provided the East London community with a valuable asset and proves that redundant buildings can, with vision, be adapted to provide the most modern accommodation.
